FUNCTION HIRE COSTS

Booking a function ? 

Need a venue for a Birthday party, christening, anniversary, wedding, funeral and much more? whatever the occasion we have a function room for you. 

THE FUNCTION ROOMS 

We have our Old Florist Room which is perfect for seating 28 guests  on one long table or we have our Library Room which is perfect for a table of 15 guests for a private dining experience. 

PARTY OF 30 OR MORE

If your looking for a party of more than 30 guests we recommend using both the Old Florist and Library room for seating and food arrangements, this gives your guests enough room to mingle and feel comfortable, this also means all the food and drink for your event can be in one area. 

PARTY OF 50 OR MORE

If your looking for a large party of 50+ guests we recommend using the hotels restaurant area as well as The Old Florist room and the Library room, or you can have the option of having The Lounge Area, Restaurant and The Library room. This can be Discussed upon meeting/booking. 

MUSIC/ BANDS 

Bands/ DJ's are welcome at the Ilchester Arms Hotel for your event, we will need to know this in advance for requirements such as space, power cables, time to set up and so on.  

FOOD OPTIONS

Sit Down Meal or Buffet Options are both available at the Ilchester Arms hotel.

Max of 20 Guests for a Sit Down meal on separate tables  in our Library room. 

Max of 45 guests for a sit down meal on separate tables in our Old Florist Room and Bakery Room. (adjoining rooms) 

We have a range of different food options available (no outside catering) all food is prepared and served from our on site kitchen see our Menus page for more information. Here at the Ilchester Arms Hotel We give the option to order from the following menus

  • Daily menu
  • Banquet menu
  • Buffet menu 
  • Afternoon Tea menu

HIRE COSTS (compulsory to parties for 40 guests +). 

There are a range of different options depending on the size of your event and how much room you require. 
full hotel hire is available, costing for this is to be discussed upon booking. please note these are NOT the same charged as meeting hire. please find below a rough guideline of hire costs for functions subject to booking prices may vary depending on requirements.

LINEN CHARGES  

Linens such as tablecloths and napkins are charged at a £30 extra fee for cleaning charges, if you wish for your event to have tablecloths please note this when booking. 

 

MEETING HIRE COSTS

We have 2 function rooms to hire, The Library and The Old Florist Room 

Business Meeting?
Why not book one of our function rooms. we have the buffet and banquet menu available to pre- order from. we will also include the following items if needed when you book
  •  flip chart 
  • projector screen 
  • projector ( if required ) + an additional £10 to hire the projector. 
Please be aware we are no longer supplying meetings with pens or paper, we kindly ask you provide this yourself. Thank you 
Rates of meeting room hire 
  • Per day 9am-5pm £35
  • Per morning or afternoon £25
  • Per long day 9am-10pm £50

Hot drinks

Flask of coffee (approx. 11 cups) £13, Large pot of tea (approx. 5 cups) £8.00, Jug of squash (orange, blackcurrant or lime) £3.00, Jug of Juice (orange/apple) £8.50

THE LIBRARY

The Library is located on the ground floor at the front of the hotel with easy access to the bar & toilet facilities. An ideal room for meetings or small/medium functions & dinner parties,seating up to 15 people on one large square table or up to 20 on separate tables. The Deep blue walls, relaxing jazz and candles are a symbol of relaxed dinning at its finest.

THE OLD FLORIST

 The Old Florist room which is situated on the ground floor  with easy access to our all access toilet, this lovely sized room has access to our secret garden area and can comfortably seat up to 28 people on a large table or up to 40 with mixed tables. This room has it's own private entrance and exits as well as having it's own lobby/ reception area which can cater for informal drinks or a general sit down before your meeting or dinner

THE LOUNGE

Our garden room is now a lounge area, this can be used for casual meetings but can no longer be booked out for private functions or meetings. 

With 4 small coffee tables and a selection of comfortable arm chairs and soft furnishings. This room is great for casual coffee's with friends or colleagues. This room will hold 13 people comfortably but added chairs can be offered if needed.
