Christmas Menus

 

Thank you for choosing to have your Christmas celebration with us, all festive tables will include festive features such as Christmas crackers and decorations to make your meal extra special!

Our Christmas day menu is only available on 25th December and will be served between 12-2pm.

 

Our festive menu is available from the 24th November until 23rd December. 

Our usual service times are:

Lunch 12 - 2.30pm 

Dinner 6.30 – 9pm

Should you prefer a different time we will do our best to fulfil your request.

 

Please contact us if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate them.


Christmas Day 2017


Traditional Scotch Broth, with herb croutons (V)

Gamekeepers Terrine, wrapped in Parma ham, with pistachio nuts, accompanied by a spicy apple chutney

Lobster, King Prawn, Mango and Avocado Salad, with a mango and basil dressing

Golden Parcels of Spiced Mediterranean Vegetables on a roast tomato sauce (V)

Ilchester Arms Smoked Duck Breast, pink grapefruit and watercress salad

Medallions of Venison, on a bed of red cabbage with apple and sultanas, with a port wine jus

Fillet Steak, with field mushrooms, smoked bacon béarnaise sauce and dauphinoise potatoes

Baked Fillet of Halibut, set on leaf spinach with a citrus sauce and dauphinoise potatoes

Roast Portobello Mushroom, Pecan and Chestnut Wellington, with roast gravy (V)

Cream of Mushroom and Roasted Chestnut Soup, with thyme and garlic croutons (V)

Warm Wood Pigeon and Black Pudding Salad, on baby leaves with a blood orange, honey and mustard dressing

Grilled Goats Cheese and Candy Beetroot Salad, with toasted sunflower seeds (V)

Ilchester Arms Hot Smoked Salmon, with pickled cucumber and dill crème fraiche

Duck Liver Pate, scented with brandy served with pear chutney and warm toast
