The Restaurant

Brendan McGee, head chef & patron, has created an extensive menu featuring modern British cuisine using fresh local produce. Brendan brings over 30 years experience to the Ilchester Arms kitchen. His modern style cuisine still manages to maintain some of the traditional values of British cooking, whilst including a twist of style and a pinch of contemporary ideas all served up with a huge dollop of inspiration and enthusiasm.

The Bistro menu changes every few months (we will keep this site updated with our latest menu). We also have an excellent selection of sandwiches, paninis and jacket potatoes, all made to order. We are also happy to offer an exquisite wine and whisky list not to mention the most tempting selection of delicious deserts. We are also happy to cater for the smaller appetite too with our junior bites menu. You can also find a good selection of daily specials; this can be found on the blackboards within the bar.
